I just love a great bargain!

And let me tell you, there are many great

bargains out there.

You just have to look.

I love thrift stores,

And I love cake stands.

There are so many neat stands out there

but once again,

I like a bargain and some of those cake stands

will break the bank for sure.

So after seeing that they can be made and

that I need to visit the thrift store

for this project, it was win, win for me.

So I added some EPOXY to the rim of the candlestick and

centered it on the bottom of the plate and ta-da,

a cake plate!



Now, what to bake during the next snowstorm?





















I'm back....
...I know you didn't even miss me but I had a few errands to run.
coffee with a friend,
and some bargain shopping to do.





This coffee cup cozy warmed my heart,
and the Chai Latte inside.

So that's a little more about me...

i love bargains

i have friends

i like cake plates

chai latte in a "pur-tee" cup

makes me smile, 

and thrift stores are my friend.

(but not the friend I had coffee with)
