OK, I'm back, this cake has me dreaming and they are sweet dreams!

This cake was to celebrate a new baby. 

New babies, so sweet and a miracle, no less.

It was the theme of the baby shower,

and if it is a boy, he is a miracle and will be loved so much,

and if it is a girl, a miracle as well and a beautiful gift!



This was a cake I made for a baby shower. The little imprints are stamps I got at the craft store and was happy with how they worked and it was very easy too.

This is my daughter's birthday cake that she helped decorate. It is my first topsy-turvy cake and I was happy with how it turned out. Of course, like with any new thing I try, I learned a few things for the next one. The fondant cracked which I am not sure why - I thought I had it figured out - but I guess I am still learning in that way too.

This is a cake that I made for my neice for her 14th birthday.

A girlfriend's birthday cake......

Wow, the time just flies by. Here it is 2 weeks before our mission trip to Panama. We are all very excited to see how God will use us. It has been a journey getting to this point in our lives and God has been there beside us each step of the way. He is faithful and has provided beyond our expectations. I have two more cakes to tackle before we leave, and packing. As I get older I need to realize that the mental list in my head of all we need to pack should probably be written down because chances are I won't remember. Just thought I would post a few pictures before we leave. By the way, did I mention that I have a "sweet tooth?"

I am still learning this blogging thing and sometimes I just can't get it to work like I think it should.
