My friend emailed me and wondered if I can make her daughter's birthday cake. So I decided to take it on, even though it was 2 days before she needed it. But my trick for this one is the birthday card that her mom got her. So no thinking about how to design it. The card was my inspiration.

This was a cake I made for a baby shower. The little imprints are stamps I got at the craft store and was happy with how they worked and it was very easy too.

This is my daughter's birthday cake that she helped decorate. It is my first topsy-turvy cake and I was happy with how it turned out. Of course, like with any new thing I try, I learned a few things for the next one. The fondant cracked which I am not sure why - I thought I had it figured out - but I guess I am still learning in that way too.
